5th day post op

Charlie Jo is 5th day post op today from her TPLO surgery last Wed. 6/8/11. She is doing so well! She listens and seems to understand she needs rest and just short walks. She is eating, drinking and taking her meds like the good girl she is! On the 23rd the stitches and staples come out, so I hope we don't have to keep putting the comfy cone on her after that! Need to get a carpet for the kitchen so she does not slip n slide and hurt her legs. So far, so good! Thank you GREAT SPIRIT!

3 days post op TPLO

We are at 3 days post op TPLO for corgi chow Charlie JO! She is doing fantabulous! She is resting, going out for her business and taking her meds. I am so proud of her! It is hard to keep her in her crate with the comfy cone on.
As long as we are here in the same room with her I let her out of the crate and take the cone off. She loves that! It is great bonding time!

Charlie Jo's upcoming surgery on June 8th, 2011

Wow, I am hoping n praying my corgi chows surgery goes well on Wednesday! She hurt her left rear knee around Easter of this year and the doc says TPLO surgery is the best for her injury, a torn ACL. So I am putting all my faith n trust in my vet and the vet he referred me to , to do the surgery. I am feeling all will go well. She will be back chasing rabbits before you know it! I will update as the surgery date nears. Please send positive energy, healing thoughts our way!
